Edward graduated from Seoul National University with a double major in electrical engineering and business administration. He began his career as an engineer at a tech start-up and helped manage its operations until the company was listed on the KOSDAQ.

He then joined McKinsey as a consultant, where he developed business strategies for global companies. In 2015, he joined SBVA and invested in early to growth-stage companies.

From 2021 to 2023, he worked as the EVP/CSO of Blank Corp. and led the company's turnaround. Afterwards, in 2023, he rejoined SBVA as an Investment/Operating Partner.
