Jason Ding is a Partner based in Beijing, leading SBVA China operations.
He was a Partner and Managing Director of TPG Growth based in Beijing before.

During his time in TPG, Jason set up the joint venture between TPG and SoftBank.
Prior to joining TPG in 2018, Jason was the Managing Partner and head of Evolution Media China since 2016, which is a TPG sponsored media and entertainment investment platform originally from US.

Previously Jason worked from 2008 to 2016 as the Partner of Bertelsmann Asia Investments, where he joined as the founding team member in Bertelsmann’s corporate investment arm in China, covering various sectors incl. Media, Consumer Internet, Fintech, Enterprise Software, Education and BPO.

Jason started his career as the Associate in China Growth Capital and Technology Specialist in Accenture.
